How Memiax protects a Space — AES-256 encryption, invite-only membership, and what we will not pretend. Last updated September 10, 2026.

What we mean by AES-256 encryption

Memiax is a private couples app: invite-only, two partners, and not a public feed. Space content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and sent over HTTPS.

  • At rest — chat, vault, diary, and reminders are stored with AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • In transit — HTTPS protects the connection between your browser and our API.

We do not make your Space searchable to other couples.

Who can open a Space

You and your partner, when signed in. Another pair cannot search their way in. There is no directory or guest seat.

What we do not promise

  • We do not promise that a screenshot, a signed-in laptop, or a shared password is impossible.
  • We do not sell your Space as a feed.

Report a vulnerability

If you find a security issue, use Contact with the topic Safety. Do not probe pairing or storage in a way that harms other couples. Do not post a proof on the forum.

Space content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and sent over HTTPS.

Can another couple read our Space?

No. There is no directory. They would need a one-time invite key from you.
