Hide a line for yourself. Delete for everyone if you sent it — that frees storage for the file. Hide-for-you does not. Chat media stays in chat, not Photos.

No. It is one conversation for two people. You cannot add a third member. There is no group that grows.
Can we use it in a long-distance relationship?
Yes. Share an invite key on a call you already trust. The chat is the same whether you live together or a flight apart.
Is our chat indexed for anyone else?
No. Nothing is indexed for a crowd. Another Space cannot read yours.
