When you hide something
Members hide chat, vault files, diary pages, and dates in the app. Hide and delete-for-everyone remove them from both of you in Memiax.
Hide for you keeps the file on the meter. Delete for everyone hides the line from both of you and frees quota.
Trash still counts until you empty it. Emptying trash hides the file from both of you. Firsts on Timeline stay.
Hide a page or a reminder and it leaves both lists. Quota for the attachment drops.
A week in a Space
Home fills from this pair only. Nothing is posted to an audience.
Monday
A photo from the commute lands in chat. It stays in the Space — not a story that expires for strangers.
Wednesday
A diary page about a hard day. Keep the draft private, then publish it when you are ready. Version history keeps earlier changes.

The vault gets the weekend trip folder. Stars, not a public album link.

Home shows unread chat, a reminder for next month, and a memory from your timeline.
How you begin
Pairing is a ceremony on purpose. It is slower than “add friend,” and that is the point.

Email or Google, and a password that belongs to you — not to the Space. Verify the inbox. You can open How Memiax works before you pair.

Share it in person or on a call you already trust. Do not post it. Revoke it if plans change before it is used.

The key works once. After confirm, you both enter the same Space. Home starts filling from this pair only.

We protect the Space, keep the wall at two people, and say plainly what a phone can still do.

Your Space is only for the two of you. There is no directory, and another pair cannot open yours.
Encrypted at rest
Space content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and sent over HTTPS. Your Space stays invite-only.
Access control
Two active members. Invite keys work once and expire. Signed-in devices can be revoked from Profile.
What we will not pretend
A device screenshot cannot be fully stopped on the web. Keep the phone private. We block casual save and print where the browser allows it.

Uploads stop at quota until you free space or spend points on a storage pack. Either partner can do it.
Storage holds this Space’s invite link, who joined, and points earned. Profile can copy a share link. Points buy packs only — never cash.

No. There is no directory. They need a key you created, and that key dies after one use or 24 hours.
Space content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and sent over HTTPS.
Unpair from Profile. Memories stay with the Space they were created in. Account deletion waits 30 days so you can cancel. After that you cannot sign in; your person can pair again.
It leaves both of you in the app.
